Payment of Fees
School fees are raised at the start of the year. It is not school policy to carry fees forward into the next billing year, therefore fees subject to agreed payment plans must be finalised by the end of November of the school year.

A range of payment options are available:

Annually:  One payment in full by Friday, Week 5, Term 1
Termly: Payment by Friday of Week 5 each term
Monthly: Payment by the last Friday of each month
Fortnightly: Payment by Friday of Week 2, 4, 6 etc
Weekly: Payment every Friday.

Discount Schedule
If you would like to take advantage of our 3% annual early payment discount, fees must be paid in full before the end of the fifth week of Term 1.

Composite Fee
The composite fee encompasses a wide range of curriculum necessities, such as the use of learning resources, co-curricular activities, and the expenses associated with year-level camps.

Additional Costs
Additional costs are dependent on personal circumstances and requirements but should be taken into consideration. These include items such as professional school photos, private music tutors, OSHC, holiday care, SAPSASA sporting opportunities, uniform, bus fares through Link SA or purchases from our canteen.

Enrolment Fee
To confirm a family’s enrolment, a $100 enrolment deposit is charged to secure your place. This deposit is credited to your account once your child commences at Good Shepherd Lutheran School.

School Card Discounts
A generous tuition fee discount is available to low income families who meet specific eligibility criteria and have School Card approved status. Families who believe they may be eligible should contact the school office/finance officer to discuss the process.

Fee Support
Fee support is also made available where there is a genuine difficulty in meeting fee obligations.  Fee support provides a discount on regular fees, and applications are considered on a merit-based system to ensure the support is given to those that are most in need.  Fee Support applications may be obtained from the Finance Officer.

Late / Non-Payment
The non-payment of school fees constitutes a breaking of the enrolment contract signed before your child/ren commenced school. The school reserves the right to make use of a collection agency to collect outstanding fees, with all collection costs added to the outstanding amount.

Withdrawal / Exiting students
As stated in the school’s enrolment form, a term’s notice in writing to the Principal is required if you are withdrawing your child from the school, or a pro-rata tuition fee will be charged.

If you plan to withdraw your child for a period greater than one term during the school year, a reduction in tuition fees may be provided if at least one term’s notice is given.
